Geithner – Things are Stuck, Need to get Unstuck
CNBC’s Larry Kudlow interviews U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner at the Delivering Alpha conference in New York Wednesday, July 18, 2012.
“Things are stuck. They need to get un-stuck,” says the Sec/Treas in this excellent interview with Larry Kudlow.
Mr. Geithner comes from the side of the argument that says we have to raise revenues (taxes) to catch up with runaway government spending. Isn’t that a bailout – of profligate, big spending, vote pandering politicians?
Freedom and small government loving citizens are on the other side of the contest. To get balance when government spending has become ridiculous means, simply and certainly, across the board real cuts in the problem – too much spending – and less Federal government meddling in too many things it shouldn’t be involved in.
