Gold Prices, Demand Seen to Increase in Second Half
Aug. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Marcus Grubb, managing director of investment research at the World Gold Council, discusses the outlook for gold demand and prices. He speaks with Linzie Janis on Bloomberg Television's "Countdown." (Source: Bloomberg)
Mr. Grubb states that the comparison by quarters is biased and that the comparison by 1/2 years gives a more complete picture. He also feels that central bank buying will be at all time high records during the second 1/2 of the year due to the need to deversify against growing currancy risk.
